(351 posts)I dance around my living room to Brazilian Bossa Nova as part of my morning Physical Therapy.
The beat is so happy.
There are Bossa Nova covers on You tube.
Simple 3 step forward with a little hip action.
Great for balance.
A wonderful way to start your day.

(637 posts)And I am an older fella now with a couple of arthritic knees but I still keep on tryin'.
Incidentally, the song guaranteed to get people off their butts and dancing around has to be '"Whammer Jammer" by J Geil's band . If that song doesn't get a person moving, check their pulse.
