I don't even know why because I love mockumentaries.
I'm watching it now and it's hilarious. I'm seeing so many familiar faces. Bruno Kirby as a driver, Fran Drescher, Fred Willard....my God SO many........

(7,667 posts)....I remember when the bass player got stuck in that plastic egg and the other scene where they were amazed at the album cover that was all-black. Very funny scenes.

(31,309 posts)I've tried watching it so many times, including since the tragedy. After a while, I fall asleep. I'm going to look up The American President and watch that today, because it's another I've never seen.

Half of that movie was ad-libbed. Brilliant!
I own the video and I recorded Spinal Tap 2 last Sunday. I haven't been able to watch it...too emotional right now.

When we bought our truck from the retiring Ryder fleet, we repainted it it. (The guitarist was a car painter.)
The one thing we didn't paint was the area around the fleet number!
We bought truck eleven!
The movie was only 4 or so years old & every rock band remembered the "it's goes to 11" bit.
Very symmetrical that a rock band buys truck #11.
