I should not buy seasonal clearance items

I bought some stuff last year and I can't find it.

What is the logical storage location for these items in your home?
Where would you have placed them last Dec and January?

We'll all love this. I was decluttering 2 weeks ago. During the time, I put all the Xmas wrapping, tags, bags, in a box, and the box is sitting in the living room. I'm taking notes on where I put stuff.

especially in the willy-nilly lead up to holidays when I'm getting visits. I'm seriously thinking of getting a little house set up in my back yard and nailing this place shut.

It's funny. I can remember where things were stored years ago, when things didn't move around. But that whole system is gone.
