I have had ferrets in the past. I adore them & wish I were in circumstances to have them again. I miss having ferrets.

I loved the ferrets we had. Typical teen-age daughter wanted them, I got to take care of them.

Like 40 yrs ago I was at my bank. A guy with a medium back pack had 2 ferrets partly poking out of it!

Normally they'd be in a cage overnight and then roam pretty freely in the basement, which had half-carpeted and half-tiled floors They'd scamper around and torment the cats (2-4 depending) - trying to play altho the cats didn't like the rules of the games. The dogs were curious and friendly.
Only problem is their bathroom habits outside of the cage. They really like to stink up corners....
