1. These are so much like my dogs and cats interactions - mainly.

I have had dogs that are agressive towards cats. Not always (since I would not have adopted them), but sometimes. Until I totally understand their dynamics, I monitor them.

Doesn't take long for the cat to train the dog.

Dog is well fed he will put up with the cat.

We've always had both and they always lived in peace. The dogs always had a healthy respect for the cats.

3. Our dog Penny, a redbone coon hound, has an interesting relationship with our cat Nemo.

They play, they fight, they snuggle, but Penny always has an eye on that cat. Kitties are so unpredictable.

Our Great Pyr, Moby, isn't bothered by our cats or anything else for that matter. He's big, he's old and no one messes with Moby. They're all just part of the "flock" he's sworn to protect. He's a good, good boy.
