howdi du electric car users .

how often du you have to change your car tires . friend of mine says " you have to change the tires regular because of the weight of the batteries ..
heres a response from a friend of mine who owns a prius ,,,

Not a thing. They wear same. Those batteries are heavy, but when we switched from our Corolla to our Prius in 2011, our tire use was exactly the same

Weight does play a role in that, but I suspect if you added weight to a gas vehicle, the electric one would still eat through the tires faster.

While I am sure it is measurable, I doubt it’s that noticeable.
