Although, let's face it, all of his novels basically have the same plot. Still, they're always a fun read.

You love Shelties and laugh with Hiaason so Rosenfelt must be worth a read, thanks.

In real life, I believe he is an attorney & he & his wife run a dog rescue. His love & appreciation for dogs is always evident.

Without Warning is the stand-alone exception.

Enjoy!

Thanks again for steering me to Rosenfelt. Andy's making the craziness all around me survivable.

Every single one is fabulous imo.

Enjoy!

I'm surviving by reading lots of fiction as well. It's much less strange than reality these days, even when reading Chet & Bernie books, narrated by the dog.

Stormy Weather was the first book I read after hearing an NPR interview where he read a bit that had me in stitches. I love it then went back and read everything he had previously written. For years I eagerly waited for the next installment.

If you like Hiaasen, you might like Tim Dorsey. Same zany Florida stories, only darker.

You might enjoy Miranda James' books.

And Dianne Kelly's.

Both excellent & very funny.
