6. Years ago my wife and i were passing out candy.

So fifteen minutes before it was over it was cold out
And i dumped rest of our candy in this young girl’s bag.
Next year her parents say d she wanted to hit our house near the end of Halloween to score big again.

... that I end up eating most of the candy myself.

This year I won't even be home, I'm going to a Halloween party at my social club.

A little unrelated but interesting, I've heard of Halloween hosts offering candy or a basic potato and apparently an abundance of trick or treaters choose the potato over the candy in certain areas.
