Maine Coon Cats -- I've read they have many rather "dog-like" behaviors. This seems to be borne out here. nt eppur_se_muova Apr 2025 #6

wait 'til you see the catio. These cats hit the jackpot with these hoomans.

The RG travels all over the world on business and our cats would know when he was getting ready to leave on a trip because of when he packed his suitcases. On the day he would leave, they would all 3 congregate in the open suitcase and refuse to leave. More than once we had to lift them out, and they would dig their claws into his shirts and sweaters, making a real mess of the packing he'd done. Clothes would be scattered all over the room.

That's what they thought of HIS trip.

I wonder about my cats. I think one of them would go along with it, but not the other one. She would claw me to pieces and never forgive me if I tried to do that! I doubt that I would live to tell about it.

I don’t think she would like the stroller, either. She likes to be left alone.

My Rosie insists on walkies every day, and she gets so excited when I get the harness out. My other cat, Otis, flopped down and played dead while glaring at me, so yeah, it's a crapshoot.
