The contractors came

Painting the living room, removed the carpet, putting on new screen doors. We painted the living room in 2000. I think we got the carpet in 2004. Screen doors 2010, not sure. I had plans to get this done last summer, but put it off. I wouldn't be doing it now, but my kids are giving me a new couch and I didn't want to put it in a dingy room. They bought the couch the end of Dec. I'll leave the floor bare for awhile. I adopted my friend's old cat. When she walked on the carpet, her claws stuck. So we'll both be happier. The floor is oak flooring, from the late 50s.
The contractors took the old couch. They sounded happy to have it. We got it 2008, and it is still in good shape. I'm having them put the old carpet in the yard for weed control. They also do my lawn care.
I'll be glad when the work is done. Happy St. Patrick's Day!

she didn't hire LuckyCharms Contractors. The number of times that the foreman has been caught twerking on job sites without pants is rather disturbing!

We had them uncovered for 2 years before we got the berber. I didn't know what to expect after 20 yrs. The whole house has the oak flooring. Except for the living room, they are not covered.
