People think of cats as solitary, but they are really incredibly social.

I have two cats, one I adopted from the shelter early in the pandemic, the other given go me by a neighbor who was moving and couldn't have a cat in the new place.

Both cats are happier, friendlier, more affectionate, more playful. They spend hours chasing each other around the house and I'm so glad. Now, if I'm gone all day, I don't worry that they're lonely or bored.
