(69,248 posts)It’s a good time to be a red wine enthusiast. 2017 is said to be one of the best years in decades for Bordeaux. And 2020 is supposed to be spectacular for Burgundies.

(69,248 posts)Generally speaking, they’re plummy and smooth. The really good ones have woody and vanilla notes.

(69,248 posts)The only real experiment I’ve made lately is a cocktail I call The Elvis. Equal parts peanut butter whiskey and banana liqueur. An homage to his fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches.

(23,081 posts)I love the Mikado! We were raised on it, and I think I have seen it on stage 6 times. I would go to any performance I could find.
