for kicks or for serious,
what do you think of this one
I used to have this recurring dream:
walking to the bus stop at Main & Clinton in downtown Rochester circa 1995
no pants
no underwear
a shirt just long enough to conceal my privates, IF I maintain a straight posture
with a trash bag full of empty bottles over my shoulder

(39,836 posts)And over which shoulder? Time of day? Would you be allowed to carry the bag onto a bus? Where were you carrying your bus token? How did you cover up your Corporals? Theres so much you have left out. What are you hiding?

(39,836 posts)this is a long process. Like cheese, your dream must be processed.

The Wandering Harper
(609 posts)it takes a sober mind to craft humor this fine

mid afternoon
yes I believe so
good question, I don't know
if by Corporals you mean ham & eggs, I explained that already
and what am I hiding? I was hoping y'all could help figure that out

(28,594 posts)I know it sounds like a strange question, but my recurring dreams reflect stress and if that was a time when you had money problems, maybe they represent something larger.
The Wandering Harper
(609 posts)I never actually saw them in the dream,
just heard and felt them in the bag

(18,960 posts)The trash bag full of empty bottles represents stress that you are trying to shed, and being mostly naked means that you are feeling vulnerable about something, but you are trying to hide it by the way you are wearing your shirt?
Just a guess.

(424 posts)Shirt just long enough to hide naked privates if you maintain a straight posture....
(Being careful to pretend by maintaining a straight posture socially? Hidden affair, perhaps? )
Clinton Avenue, 1995...
(in 1995 Clinton was president . He was involved in hidden philandering. )
Trash bag full of empty bottles ...
(might indicate heavy drinking but publicly showing bottles, as if to say "How could this be a problem? I'm not even hiding it."
Just some thoughts.

An unwillingness to let them go?
