4. Something I ate in Italy

On a business trip, went alone to a local restaurant recommended to me and couldn’t communicate hardly at all with anyone, and they had no English speakers. Finally opted on a sampler of different foods, most of which were great… but there was some sort of seafood (all I could understand from them was “Pisces “) that was just dreadful. I mean, really awful. Think it was some type of mussel. Couldn’t get the taste out of my mouth for 3 days, kept burping up that utterly disgusting flavor.
Everything else I ate in Italy was really delicious!

6. A French Dip sandwich at a greasy spoon diner in Thermopolis, Wyoming.

What a hellhole that place was. Armpit of the USA. That sandwich was a choice between starvation or a full stomach.

I should have chosen starvation.
