The French Resistance had the Cross of Lorraine.

I have adopted the American symbol for electrical resistance.

That picture popped into my head.

On a trip to China I stood on that very spot.

Of course the Americans in the group could not dare mention anything about it.
We were told that if we spoke of it our tour guide would be arrested on the spot and
we liked her quite a bit so bit our lips.
