Important Godzilla question. Or maybe Gamera.

I’m trying to remember a kaiju film that I saw ~40 years ago. I believe that two boys were whisked to another planet. At one point, they observe a river on that planet running backwards.

Their captors are two twenty-something women in silver suits. Near the film’s end, one of the women suffers a broken leg. Observing this, the other draws her space gun and kills her, making some comment about not being useful to society.

I might be conflating two or more films. At first I thought it was Godzilla, but then I got a hunch that it might be Gamera.

1. Definitely Gamera! It's on YouTube or MST3K is probably somewhere on your cable channels.

4. I knew it was Gamera but wasn't sure which one, so, I confess I Googled.

The Gamera films are some of my favorite MST3K episodes.

3. Knife head (Guiron)

One of the coolest kaijus around. Pacific Rim made one of its monsters in honor of it. The thing about Gamera is he took some brutal damage in his fights. Not so much with Godzilla. For stupid kaiju fun always kind of liked Gamera more (but Godzilla is better for serious movies like the first one and Godzilla Minus One).

Still need a version of Godzilla vs. Gamera. Perhaps Legendary can get the US rights to Gamera as well? Godzilla will always be king, but Gamera is no slouch either.
