I never thought about doing a search for something bulk or even setting up like a monthly repeat order that's not a bad idea.
I had someone tell me today "you go to stop feeding those fucking birds"
and I said "they are the only thing that gives me joy so fuck off". 😁

(215 posts)Until recently I bought seed (black oil sunflower and sunflower chips) in50 pound bags. I switched to 25s because the 50s got too heavy for me. For suet find a local butcher and order a whole kidney knob. Chunk it up and freeze it.

(14,079 posts)I have limited them to breakfast and maybe dinner if I remember before it gets too late.
I have flickers, stellar's Jays, chickadees and doves... also some very funny and territorial squirrel and chimpmunk species.
I used to feed them constantly, then found a huge stash in the back of the garage so now they have to find someone else to mooch off for winter storage!
