Lobster mushrooms

Just tried these for the first time tonight. Found quite a few while foraging yesterday. I really enjoyed their flavor and texture. Sweet, firm (almost crunchy!) mild seafood flavor. I just sauteed in butter.

Anyone here have experience with these? I was thinking of making a Thai red curry and using these as one would squash. Thoughts?

They deserve a dish of their own as they are a singular combination of a mushroom and a parasite!.

Aside from a multitude of pasta/risotto & cheese recipes.. More interesting
would be a Bisque, or Chowder...

OR

Make Lobster Mushroom Rolls!
