3. In the '60's, my sister n I had long hair and we took turns ironing our hair straight!

We put our hair under a little towel and used the iron to get it nice n straight. No pouffy air spray stuff

A few years ago, my daughter and her cousins were talking to their Grandma about their hair. My neice said, "Yeah, Grandma, her hair was high and mine was wide. We couldn't go through a door at the same time! " lol

For a while '69ish really curly hair was in. My hair was straight, but would take some wavyness.
W straight hair we'd braid at night after a wash - 4 braids on each side. I'd end up with waves for a day.
