Totally of topic: The Band backed up a couple of songs recorded by Tiny Tim, Bob Dylan's friend, in the same iconic basement. Tiny Tim was a genuine walking encyclopedia of early twentieth century popular music and steered Dylan toward some great songs. By the way The Band played, they were having a grand time; I imagine the huge smile Levon Helm had while playing the drums
