New Passport arrived

I did the online application on October 7 and it was in my mailbox October 21! They said to allow 6-8 weeks .

One year of expiration you can still do it online. My son did his the end of Sept and had his new one in 3 weeks! His had expired 10 months prior.

We got ours renewed last summer and we live only a few hours from the Canadian border,

Our plan is to wait and watch. We don't think we will have to vacate because we totally believe Kamala is going to kick his orange ass, but we all need to be vigilant and be ready to get out if the MAGA Fuhrer takes power.

When he started talking about vermin, and the GOP created Project 2025 and he's talking about releasing the US Military on the Enemy From Within, it is long past time to have a Plan B!

I think there was a huge backlog of orders after the COVID lockdown, but they've worked through it. They're back to the normal turnarounds again. Yay! Back in 2021 I needed to renew my Passport and I paid a 100 dollar rush fee. Got my passport in about 2 weeks, but it would have taken several months otherwise.

Awesome for you.....I also renewed mine this past summer.

I paid extra to have it expedited (I paid a ridiculous amount but I just wanted to get it done). I was supposed to go to San Miguel de Allende in Mexico in July but the plans fell through.

I'm comforted having it in order....
