Is way high on my list. Popeyes. And Rouses Grocery in South Louisiana makes some incredible fried chicken. My wife does magic with chicken fried or not. And then there’s chicken lunch meat.

Here in northern Kentucky, Popeye's seems to dominate the market over KFC, and for good reason. The last time I had really good chicken at KFC was in Utah on vacation. I love Popeye's and their beans and rice.

Assuming there’s no penalty to my health.

Sausage.

There’s, like, a million varieties of sausage out there. So I could have diversity even while staying within the stricture of ‘one kind of food.’

Green peppers

Banana peppers

Tomatoes

Mozzarella cheese

Sharp cheddar cheese

Pepperoni

Bacon

Sausage

Pizza crust used to make sandwiches.

Grilled cheese.

Bacon and tomato.

If this counts as 1 food.

My reasoning is because I can get vegetables, meats, pizza crust, and cheeses.

But it's not true.
I actually said, "What? Lobster AGAIN?" at one point in my life.
(I owned a boat large enough to carry four friends with scuba gear out to a good lobstering spot. Even lobster can become a 'not again' food)

•Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chips w Walnuts
•Shrimp Tandoori
•A Provolone, and sliced Summer Heritage Tomatoes, with Hellman's Mayo, touch of garlic powder on a long Italian sub sandwich
•Italian sausages & peppers (and onions) w rice, or in a sandwich

Runs around in a panic!!!

I really have to think about this!

Later, ETA:
OK, maaaaybe I can't choose one but I think I can choose two. 😄
