Kitten Turns Corner Just 24 Hours After Moving from Shelter into Comfy Home

Watch this orphan kitten evolve from frightened, scrawny rescue animal to "I'm-the-queen-of-the-castle," thanks to Best Friends Animal Society in Los Angeles, CA. All photos of Apple by Frankie.

Nervous little Apple had flea dirt on her which was gently brushed off.

After being cleaned up, Apple wrapped up in a blanket and finally purred.

After eating and resting peacefully, Apple woke up refreshed with renewed energy.

When Apple finally gets tired from eating, playing, and romping around, she purrs herself to sleep.

And all this took place in 24 hours.
