I thought, oh crap, the guys are here to get this junk out of the way.300 bucks gone.
No, it was just my neighbors, they cleaned my camper,
Took all the big stuff out from , MrsK, and LilBit, when they died.
And even my garbage bag!
My camper is clear.
They are magas, but they are neighbors,
We are Dems, we tend to suffer. We
Are

Well , I'm home, and the only people, who heard my cries, were MAGAS,

(6,463 posts)There are many caring loving individuals whose political stances I disagree with.
I am happy for you, that you have these neighbors.

Be kind to kind people, you might bring them around some day. Argue bullshit with them, not a chance.
I just need to be a good person, when I step out the door
Maybe my face , didnt look right, maybe their wife and child , died.

(24,790 posts)I now live in a manufactured home on my grandson's five acre property. We formerly lived in a nice senior mobile home park 175 miles from here.. My grandson is a MAGAT. Not too radical about it, but he votes for Trump and will again. I've tried to change him without success. Fortunately his wife is a Democrat and voted for all Democrats. My grandson is really a step-grandson who was five when I first met him. He has done may good things for us, and we pay him rent that was about equivalent to what we paid previously.
He at least informs people (including us) that no politics be discussed in his home. I feel the same way. So far so good. Both of my wife's kids moved to this area because of job demands. We followed them like they followed us when we moved north to our previous home. We felt a need to be close to relatives at our age.

(18,976 posts)He's a strange, strange dude, but he helped me out for two full days when we got flooded (among other people).
I got everyone who helped me a $100 gift card when all was said and done.
The other day, he put up a huge Trump sign in his yard.
I can't hate the guy though. I mean, he helped me out in a time of need, and I would do the same for him now if he needed it.
I'll put politics aside in his case. I have never been able to warm up to the guy, but I can never forget his kindness either.

Im so happy, we need more stories, like this here.
Not videos or hatred.
Vp Harris will win because,
We have neighbors, who help, us when we are sick.
