I went for 4 years without getting Covid, and now I've had it 3 times in the last 4 months (wear masks when you fly people!). I've read that the shedding can last from 6-9 months, and it takes much longer to grow back. If you've had success with any supplements or prescribed stuff, please let me know. I'm not looking forward to looking like the Crypt Keeper.

(6,658 posts)But when you have a major stress event, illness or shock, up to 50% of hairs can be pushed into the shedding phase.
FIFTY PERCENT?
On the plus side, this article says it only lasts 2 to 6 months, and everything I've read so far has been six to nine. This gives me a little bit of hope!

(6,658 posts)Even if it's bad news, I'm the kind of person who wants the Good The Bad and The Ugly. Also, none of the articles I found addressed the amount of hair loss one could expect, so I was obviously Imagining the worst, and knowing that I won't go bald is actually good news. LOL. Thank you for taking the time to send me this information. I really do appreciate it.
