Big Brother's "Nether Region" - still the worst show on TV. But it gets 3.3M viewers

My wife started watching this the first season. We’ve missed some seasons. I’m shocked at how bad this show is. My wife and I started watching this season and our focus is more on how bad it is. Julie Chen Moonves has to be the worst host of any kind of show ever. She misreads things all the time.

So this year they are trying to create some sort of multi-verse. One of the “worlds” is dark and scary (there’s also a Scary-verse I think) and named “the Nether Region”. We cracked up the first time we heard it. My daughter came in later and when she heard it she said, “WHAT?”

The show itself is overly drawn out. Instructions for competitions take 5 minutes. Overly contrived and complicated.

Even devoted fans are ridiculing it. But hey, it wind it’s time slot - all 3 nights apparently.

1. I'm sure there's worse out in the vast wasteland.

My wife also watches the show, and if I know what's good for me, so do I. It's silly and harmless and more than a little contrived. I think making a show that everybody can complain about is half the point.
