To prep for the live action Ahsoka series, I've been binge watching Clone Wars, the Star Wars animated series, and despite the so-so animation, this series is some of the very best Star Wars out there. Really good character and story development. Ten times better than the prequel movies.
And it gets extremely political. I mean very detailed, very Liberal politics.

(37,182 posts)that's where you learn the most about Ahsoka. I mean her relationship with Anakin is really developed. You get a much, much better idea as to why he turned than anything in the movies.

(12,744 posts)My one problem with Rebels is that Ashoka doesnt sound battleworn - the voice actress didnt really change her delivery for something set almost 20 years in the future from Clone Wars.

I think The Bad Batch is my favorite out of all the animated series.
Omega's Kiwi accent kills me every time. "The Bead Beetch", "Eeky-o", "Wreeka", "Crosseyah", "Huntah", "Teek", etc. It's adorkable.
