I am having my car detailed and he has been here to FIVE HOURS!

He is doing a beautiful job but damn I want to get out of this house and get some food. I think he is a little OCD

(In Case anyone is wondering I am paying him $500. I figured it is worth it because i never clean my car - ever!)

4. I was so mad when we had our Mazda Miata detailed. $200 and it looked horrible.

I went in to complain and the “head” guy came out to look at it and said he thought it was just fine. We were selling the Miata or we never would have had it done. But like I say, just a horrible job…….had bugs still in the grill. 🤬 🤬 🤬

8. I don't get it. A drive-thru car wash (no wax pls) and hand vac afterwards...

is good enough for me. Just like detailing, car washes only last until the next rain or snow storm...and they only cost a few dollars.

12. If I ever get off my butt and hire someone for my Honda sedan, this info should be useful...

It’s over 15 now and in fantastic shape, low mileage, good mechanic — it’s just dirty. The insides are mucho dusty.
