Having some surgery this morning

Not major-major, but major enough, carpal tunnel with pulley releases on thumb and ring finger to get rid of trigger thumb (recurrent but only in the morning so far) and locking joints. And it's my right hand, which since I'm right-dominant is no small thing. I will probably be here in diminished capacity for awhile.

Stick to the plan.
That seems to be the biggest hurdle to complete recovery.
Best of luck.

Major indeed! As a sculptor/painter I think its a great big deal! Glad you're getting it done!

"any surgery happening to you is major". Hope it goes well. Right handed people have a tough time post-op on their right hand or arm, we do not do things well with our left. My husband is a lefty, they are much more ambidextrous than us.
