My average (mean) is now 3.479, after focusing my efforts on emulating / beating WordleBot each day.

If I don't count the two games when I busted or the six games when I solved in 6 tries (all of which happened over a year ago), the average is 3.438.

Could have gotten it in three if I had realized ANNOY couldn't have been the right answer, given that my guess of ALLOY revealed that O was not the correct fourth letter. WordleBot, being WordleBot, didn't miss its chance to taunt me about that.
