Tonight I could no longer watch, read nor hear the current American version of dystopia & opted for the fictional version: "Hunger Games". There's really not a hell of a lot of difference, is there?
Instead of the Russian roulette of which school will participate in mass murder; I'm watching the personalized fictional version.

Oh god! I can only hope so. It's so hard to believe that a country that produced JFK, Obama, moon walks, inoculations to countless diseases, including Covid can devolve into the mess in Tennessee and Florida to the ongoing idiocy regarding allowing weapons of mass destruction as "open carry" and treating their women as chattle.
And thank you. If it wasn't for DU providing a forum of sanity, I'd truly despair for this country.
