I guessed John Candy's cameo in Home Alone.
If you don't recall, it's him comforting Kevin(Macaulay Culkin)'s mother (Catherine O'Hara) by telling her about the time he forgot his own kid somewhere... (at a funeral parlor, all day, with a corpse... the kid was fine though, after he started talking again, in 2 or 3 weeks)
