for u dr who fans. history of real police boxes and how they were chosen for

the tardis . if i remember correctly the tardis is actually huge . it got stuck in a police box when one of its circuts failed and been ever since .

A TARDIS can take project different forms but the Doctor's TARDIS is stuck looking like a police box due to a broken camouflage circuit. The Master's TARDIS has taken several forms over the years.
