It was a treat, and I really needed to catch up. I got a lot of work done, like walked the grand dogs, pulled ivy off the house wall, cleaned out 2 beds, and the garden, got the last of the pumpkins disposed of, put yard things away and filled the bird feeders. Taking a short break and hitting the kitchen. I wish I could have this kind of energy more often.
Tomorrow, I am getting the water heater replaced, plus 2 other small jobs. Exciting to get them off the list!
Happy Monday

(23,175 posts)I usually try to manage the ivy in the spring, but didn't get the weather this year. It was really rooted into the bricks. I like using a small clipper and a paint scraper. None of the other chores hard to get done. I'm hoping the ivy will stay on the ground for awhile. Maybe I can skip next spring.

(102,789 posts)But that's because I was up at 3:30am and went back to bed around 6. And I cleared about a foot of snow off one of my cars and cleared a path for the UPS driver to deliver a package.
After that I haven't done a damn thing except eat and watch stuff online.
Good a Monday as any.

(23,175 posts)Shoveling snow is hard work. I have a short walk and nice neighbors. You sound like the nice neighbor

(102,789 posts)Because of the package! It was dry snow so I was able to just sweep the porch and steps but the walk to the driveway had a 2' drift so I had to do something about it.
And the package arrived so I am without obligation or expectation until late tomorrow morning.
