(491 posts)... beware, it could be your start of donating a large portion of space as you get 'just a few more'....
... I started out with just two skeins of yarn to knit as a rookie...
... and now it could be classified as house insulation if I stack it along an outer wall...

(80,490 posts)They look like real stones. Could be wrong, of course, but a bonus if they're real!
I need a new hobby.

(97,637 posts)I hear you about the hands, mine don't work the way they use too.
Go for it, the stones are beautiful.

(8,387 posts)Looks like a bad starter kit for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, sex toys, leather working, and auto repair, but that's just me.

(73,727 posts)most important decision of the process. pick stones you rly love.
get a kit for tools and fasteners, etc. but pick your own palette.
Silver Gaia
(5,361 posts)a more informed opinion. It looks like a good deal. Reviews are decent. I would suggest purchasing the two "frequently bought together" items I see. One is an additional set of silver charms for $6.72 and the other is a reel of elastic bracelet cord for $6.99. Those two additional items would provide you with a lot more fun and flexibility. At least save these to your list in case you want them later. (If you enjoy this, you will!)
I would also look for a pair of round nose jewelry pliers. You will need two pairs of pliers for some things, and I have found the round nose pliers more useful than the flat ones with teeth that can sometimes leave marks on metal findings.
If there are some stones you find you use more than others, look for strands of them. Those are usually a much better deal.
I hope this helps! Have fun!

(14,198 posts)This is something that is not that important. It's something I was told could help with the chronic stiffness in my hands.
A little bit ago I was making jewelry to make some money, now it's for therapy and enjoyment.
