Julian Lennon vowed never to perform Imagine - 'not till the end of the world'

On Saturday Julian performed Imagine for the Global Citizen's Stand Up For Ukraine Initiative. Ukraine reports that, so far, the Stand Up Initiative has raised a staggering USD 11 billion dollars.

25. Out of curiosity - did anyone else find his performance annoying? Kudos to him for doing it,

and for raising money - I don't mean to detract from that at all. It's obviously an excellent cause.

But I heard the performance this morning, and now just watched this video again, and both times I thought, "He's trying way too hard." It's too earnest, or too much trying to be his dad (and not making it), or something.

I find it an irritating performance.
