I'm spoiling Mittens the Kitten and Scooter

They arrived for a late lunch at about 2. Then at 4 I remembered that I left something on the porch so I went back out. They IMMEDIATELY came dashing out of nowhere, meowing away! So, yea, I went out in some really miserable weather and gave them some more food.

Mittens (and Scooter, to a limited degree) is so amenable to being scritched, I just can't resist spoiling them.

Hopefully they eat quickly so they can get out of the what ever the heck that mix is that's falling from the sky. I anticipate a lot of 911 accident reports, as soon as the temperature falls a couple of degrees.

1. Extra calories to help them stay warm.

& when weather is going to be bad, they show up fof tuna.

4. I'm going to pick up some more cans of sardines

I figure the protein and oil will probably be good for them.

At one time they had LOTS, as did The Dollar Tree.

Admittedly, I haven't been going out any more than necessary, lately. The Covid numbers in Genesee County are kind of scary.

Just bought a case (48 cans) of Aldi albacore tuna. They have cheaper stuff for 63-cents a can & no limit (yet).

3. I should be getting some straw, this week, for bedding in the little shelter

And I'm going to put a snow shovel on that porch so I can attempt to keep the snow/ice from preventing the door from opening.

Hopefully we DON'T get hammered with snow, this Winter.
