War between Israel and Hamas is ramping up the pressure on the House to elect a new Speaker. Congressional leadership is still in a state of paralysis, with House Majority Leader Steve Scalise no longer in the race. Attention is now turning towards Ohio Republican Jim Jordan, who lost the nomination vote to Scalise earlier in the week. But Jordan is also lacking unified Republican support. How and when does this end?

1. Hillary Clinton would have been a very good president

I voted for her without hesitation in the 2016 general election, though not in the primary. By any measure she was/is highly qualified for the job with her intelligence and government experience, moreso than any nominee of either party in decades except perhaps Joe Biden.

2. She was my senator, did a good job at that as well, hated to lose her when she was appointed SoS

And during the 2016 campaign I couldn't wait for it to be over so we'd never have to see or hear from TFG again. Shows what I know. *sigh*

And if anyone had the right to challenge the results of an election, it would have been Hillary Clinton - she did receive the most votes. And you're right, with her background, she would have had the most experience except for Joe Biden. I've often thought how different things would be in this country if she had served.
