It isn’t meant as collective punishment, but it certainly will bring great hardship.

An Israeli spokesman said on CNN it was to make it harder for Hamas to carry out attacks.

The whole situation is impossible.

Both Presidents Clinton and Carter worked for peace in this region, but then Bush* ignored it. This is the worst it's been since 1973.

The monsters will survive, or there will be more to take their place. But innocent people, caught in the middle of this senseless conflict will suffer for no good end.

a world wide commitment to destroying the terrorist organizations of Hamas and Hezbollah - through Intel operations to target them with the least possible damage to civilians, avoiding that as much as possible.

Those two terrorist groups serve themselves, not the people they claim to represent. With them out of the picture, Israel would have zero ground to stand on for suppressing Palestinians. A two state resolution would be more possible if the terrorists weree removed from the scene.

And obviously this one has no compunctions about murdering anyone, even innocent civilians if it serves their interests. Would it take a war tribunal?

against countries that harbor them. Cut off the financial sources of Hamas and Hezbollah. Special ops to kill them off.

They need to go the way of Isis.
