He knows he is guilty so any sort of distraction for the stupid people who support him is worth his efforts (because it ain’t gonna cost him a Penney.). The art of his deal.

Maybe the gop will get to the government shut down tomorrow. Gosh, they’ve been so busy governing.

3. You're right, TFG is desperate to create a distraction from his criminal indictments

So he's trying anything he can think of to shift any blame he can on the sitting president, the ridiculous "impeachment" hearings, totally TFG's idea - and the government shutdown, he called for that, too. And rather than doing what's right for the American people, the Republicans in the House are following the orders of a constituent of one.
