China Threatens Philippines Again & Philippine Retaliation Puts USA on Military Alert to Support- JB
As part of the ongoing tension in the South China Sea China recently installed a FLOATING BARRIER around 120 miles from the Philippines to prevent its fishing industry from accessing the waters. The Philippines RETALIATED by removing the Barrier and is now awaiting China's response. UNCLOS is an organization that has set boundaries for the ownership of international waters however CHINA has refused to accept these boundaries and has claimed the vast majority of the SOUTH CHINA SEA. Much of the water and the islands are closer to other countries such as The Philippines, Vietnam and Malaysia and China's refusal to drop its claims has resulted in various conflicts and loss of life. Recently China has threatened the Philippines and the situation has the potential to boil over as the USA is supportive of the Philippines position. In this video I provide full details of the latest South China Sea Dispute and discuss the potential impact on the Global Economy.
