Taliban ban women from restaurants and green spaces in Afghanistan - WION



In the Afghan province of Herat's northwest, the Taliban have made it illegal for families and women to enter restaurants with gardens or other outdoor areas. The organization, which took control in August 2021, is still restricting the rights of women while in power.

not to adopt the new Taliban mentality of women subjugating to their brothers, their fathers, their uncles, their cousins, etc., in hopes of one returning to pre-Taliban Afghanistan.
