(65,147 posts)1. The way I understand it Twitter was akin to a "town square;"
wherein all things are debated, this is a democracy with free communication among the people, the First Amendment at its' zenith.
Despite what people might think about how *rump's message was amplified by access to Twitter, this is the same case in regards to opposition to him.
I believe that's what Elon feared the most because he thought it could/would become a challenge to oligarch interests.
One other thought that I considered as I viewed the video is whether Musk is buying up or shorting stock in companies that's he or someone is trashing on Twitter?

Yep, I think the degradation of Twitter is not an accident.
