A 33-year-old man is facing assault charges after throwing a beer can at Senator Ted Cruz who was on a float during the Astros’ World Series victory parade in Houston, Texas.

For the hero. Light beer….that’s a good one. Never any danger, it would have slid off his greasy head or bounced off his fat body. A good guy with a can. Should’ve armed the float driver with a beer.

I just wish that a greater number recognized that the more jackasses we have acting out on our side - the more credibility we create for the "both sides" argument. So, in reality - this jerk just did us all a huge disservice. Thanks for that, you pin-head frat-boy.

Unlike a lot on this thread - I'd like to see this moron receive ample punishment.

A few dollars to insure that he gets good representation and a robust defense in court. It’s the American way. As Republicans pointed out when they suggested a defense fund for the guy who attacked Paul Pelosi.

Assaulting someone by using a 3/4 pound can as a projectile is dangerous and unwarranted.
