(11,461 posts)thought the first debate belongs to the president too, he had facts while Mittiots had lies.

(264 posts)You must present the facts properly and alternate between a strong defense and a stinging offense. Obama did this very well last night.
Hutzpa
(11,461 posts)just that everybody focused more on Mittiots aggressive performance style than the lies he told.

(1,290 posts)Its like the GOP knows they can through out any crap and the people will eat it up and the media will not call them on it.

(1,945 posts)Mitt Romney lied too much to win that first debate.
Obama didn't win either.
Lehrer limped away.
The first debate was awful for everyone.
The media stylists came out for a horse race after the first debate. Now they are trying to act like the Mitt Romney who attacked the moderator where they praised him isn't the same Mitt Romney who attacked the moderator again where they deplore his conduct.
Same Mitt.

(11,461 posts)please tell me from your stand point why you felt Obama did not win the first debate?

(57,757 posts)and my guess is not on Fox. They are still in denial. They claim the President lied about Libya and that Crowley took back her correction. These people will never come to terms with reality.

(8,200 posts)He was a member of the PNAC, the right wing organization that is directly responsible for taking us to war in Iraq. He is a powerful voice whose extremism is paraded on the OP pages of numerous newspapers. My greatest fear is that if Romney is elected the Neo-cons will once again dominate the cabinet and could very well start another war in the Middle east that could actually result in a nuclear Holocaust. Even if they avoid that catastrophe, they present jut as much threat to the abolition of what is left of the Middle Class.
Bainbridge Bear
(155 posts)it was no less than good ole right-wing whore and water carrier, Sean Hannity, who said "Point, Set and Match" for Romney. Unbelievable. My Gawd, when even Charles Krauthammer said that Romney lost he really lost! The last "debate"will focus on foreign policy and we all know how utterly incompetent The Mittster is on THAT topic. Can you say "Libya". Also, don't forget how much he endeared himself to the British when he visited. Talk about a personification of the Ugly American.
