Given the FBI Failures in Both the Kavanaugh & Nassar Investigations, the FBI Needs New Leadership

Recent Senate hearings have exposed to full public view the dramatic and consequential failures of the FBI in both the investigation of Larry Nassar's horrific crimes against the Olympic gymnasts and the investigation into the allegations against Brett Kavanaugh made by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford.

Comey's eleventh hour and damaging letter to Congress on re-opening an investigation against Hillary Clinton's campaign, resulting in trump getting elected.

That agency has done a lot of damage.

but it seems to me they need to stiffen and follow investigative standards and stop making qualifying judgments about the material found at the lower levels, they need all offices following the same standards, and leave the decisions to DOJ. Any organization of that size requires managerial talent and not just political appointees. One of the cases made in favor of VP Harris was that she managed the CA state AG office, a large bureaucracy. I suspect the FBI is larger.

I guess Glenn is resolved to his budding podcast/TV role, perhaps will have a show sometime, but would be delighted if his services were required in government again. The man is just so earnest.
