'Republicans Can Take Their Performative Outrage And Shove It Where The Sun Don't Shine' - jojofromjerz

I don’t care if you’re a Democrat. I don’t care if you’re a Republican. I don’t care if you’re the last surviving Radio Shack employee, a tap-dancing mortician, or a talking motherfucking horse named Ed. If you sexually assault another human being, if you use power like a skeleton key to slip past someone’s autonomy and treat their body like it’s yours to borrow, break, bulldoze, or simply take because power convinced you consent was optional, you should be held the fuck accountable.

No delay. No deflection. No dithering. No dodging.

No deodorized damage control where a pack of spin-soaked, shit-shuffling, soul-auctioning sycophants tries to perfume the stench into something faintly tolerable, like hosing down a slaughterhouse with vanilla Febreze and insisting nobody can smell the blood. No frantic parade of consultants, crisis managers, and professional bullshit polishers sanding the splinters off something rotten enough to give the whole country fucking tetanus.

That is the baseline.

Or at least it should be.

Accountability isn’t revenge. It isn’t a baseball bat you only swing when the other dugout hands you an opening. It’s the price of asking millions of complete strangers to trust you with power in the first place. Power doesn’t erase consent. It just convinces some men they’re entitled to ignore it.

The moment that rule starts bending around polling numbers, campaign headquarters, party affiliation, or political convenience…it stops being a rule.
