CNN Gave Us ALL The Middle Finger on Christmas Eve
Written by Ben Meiselas
CNN has lost its damn mind! No wonder its ratings are in the dumps.
Yesterday, I was sitting around the Christmas tree with my family when my nephew asked me about the Louisiana Purchase.
I thought it was an inquisitive question, so I asked why he brought it up.
He said CNN reported that if Donald Trump takes over Greenland, it would be the most significant acquisition of territory by the United States since the Louisiana Purchase.

(852 posts)is that if Greenland were actually up for sale, Canada would be the natural best ownership candidate given its location adjacent to Greenland. That would make Canada even more important from a natural resource perspective. There's no way the U.S. has a legitimate claim to Greenland other than the fact that we have a military base there. Of course, if that were the main criterion, we would own much of the world, as we seem to have bases nearly everywhere.

(852 posts)I see a hopefully inadvertent "c" in there.
In the case of the US, though, I don't see the need for additional space, as our population fits quite nicely already with room to spare. Greenland might be a good place to store T****'s and Eloon's vast egos, however. They could be frozen in the glaciers like an old woolly mammoth.
