Excerpts: "Earlier this week Tom and Steve presented their election analysis to a wonderful activist group called Women On Watch, or WOW, based in Stamford, CT. The group has written more than 12,000 GOTV postcards and letters, no small feat. So I give them well-deserved kudos and thanks. Tom and Steve’s presentations basically distilled and interpreted much of what they’ve written over the past year or so into one neat, understandable package. I can’t reproduce it all here, but what I can tell you is the closing message: it’s all going to come down to the GROUND GAME. The ground game is not some amorphous strategy that’s going on behind the scenes. The ground game is YOU. If you’ve written postcards, sent texts, made calls, knocked on doors, you’re part of the ground game. Yes, early voting is underway, but there are tens of millions more votes to be cast between now and the close of polls on November 5. So don’t let up. If you can knock on doors, please do. You’ll be directed to homes of likely Democratic voters so your job is just to help them to develop a plan to cast their votes.
