Survivors of Jeffrey Epstein will testify publicly on Tuesday

Source: Scripps News

Posted 7:37 PM, May 11, 2026. and last updated 7:39 PM, May 11, 2026

Democrats on the House Oversight Committee will be in Florida Tuesday to hold a hearing with survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. It's what's known as a shadow hearing, one organized by the minority party, and it's the first time we will hear from survivors testifying publicly under oath about what happened to them.

Scripps News spoke with survivor Marina Lacerda, who now lives in the area, about what it's like to bring this issue to her backyard.

"I feel that Congress wants to come in and definitely help us out," she said. "I think that while we have the Trump administration, I don't think we're going to go anywhere with this, to be honest with you. I think we're going to have to wait for this administration to leave in order for us to even start criminally charging or start to even take any type of action in this case."

"Sometimes when we do get together, the survivors, the Florida girls, we try not to bring this up, right? Because it's something in the past, right? And we talk about it all the time," she said. "I live far from West Palm, so I don't feel that heavy energy. I just feel like when I meet with my survivor sister here in Florida I can feel that sometimes it's hard for them to get through, but I feel like they're doing such a great job still living here."

Sometimes Justice is late to the scene

but the living partner in the trump/epstein party club is scarred shitless about the tapes leaking or being personally IDed by one of the

girls then ,women now, even with possible death threats..

If not, I fear it will be used as vindication by trump.

There are others who don't and have kept themselves out of the spotlight and as far as I know, have not been subpoenaed or forced to testify.

I have noticed that DU is all over the map with "Epstein Files", including repeating the mantra over and over, but when threads are posted with updates, they get a yawn.

However they probably won't have much to say about Chump, one way or the other.

Chump's days of hanging out with Epstein as "bad boys" mostly happened in the Manhattan heydays of the 1980's and 90's. Then Chump and Jeffrey had a falling out and they spent little time together after that. Did Chump ever fly on the Lolita Express? It seems he did but there hasn't been much documentation to back that up.

These women have stories to tell about Epstein (and possibly G. Maxwell) but probably nothing about Chump.

It's where Epstein lived and where may of the girls were trafficked -- but it's also where Mar-a-lago is. Close enough to get under trump's skin, and they know it!

is a good thing. However, some people have to learn that Republicans are part of Congress and they are not at the hearing, have nothing to do with it and are, in fact, actively covering up the largest pedophile ring ever scandal as best they can.
"I feel that Congress wants to come in and definitely help us out," No, it's Democrats. Republicans want the victims to shut up.

1: Boycott the hearings
2: Go on friendly "news" agencies and complain the Democrats are weaponizing it, claiming TDS.
3: Go on friendly "news" agencies and tacitly state the women are either lying or deserved it.
4: Any and all of the above
